The inspiration behind the jewelry line, LEXI LU, developed from the sheer desire to embrace life’s miracles and turn them into fulfilling realities.  Becoming a new mom changed the priorities and perspective of designer, ALLISON LEIGH RODEN.  Allison needed to discover a way to both, provide a stable future for her daughter and achieve a life-long dream.  Attending the Fashion Institute of technology in NYC has provided Allison with the necessary skills to forecast and design trends.  She has always had a passion for vintage clothes and jewelry, and wanted to bring new life to long forgotten treasures.

Through the encouragement of sister, MELISSA GAYLE MASTROLIA, both designers took a leap of faith and began marketing their creations in beautiful CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA.  Melissa's made various gifts, ranging from mini ornaments to elaborate murals, for friends and family.  By using semi-precious stones, filigrees, and shells, Melissa has found the ideal canvas to display her art.  Attached to every hand-crafted LEXI LU necklace and bracelet is a garnet charm, which represents the month Allison's daughter was born.  Due to the rich and complimentary color of the stone, garnet is used in many of the LEXI LU designs.

The combination of Melissa’s fine arts talent and Allison’s sense of style enables these designers to create unique custom-made jewelry.  The extensive array of designs will compliment the individual style of every woman.  LEXI LU, named after Allison’s baby girl, ALEXANDRA LUISA, is hoping to inspire other women to embrace their inner spirits.
